Shichon

Shichons can be bathed monthly, weekly or even more frequently if conditions warrant, such as to clean off something nasty they’ve rolled in. Use a high-quality shampoo and conditioner, or an all-in-one product. If you’re not sure or if your dog’s coat and skin aren’t looking healthy, check with your pet’s veterinary healthcare team for guidance.

Dogs with purebred parents of different breeds, such as the Shichon, typically don't have completely predictable physical features. It's not uncommon for all dogs to have a "puppy coat" that differs from their adult coat, but typically the change is one of volume and texture, not color.

Keeping your Shichon bathed regularly combined with brushing with a slicker will help keep the fluff in your dog's coat.
